What are the materials of food packaging?

For a long time, plastic products have been widely used in food packaging. Because plastic is difficult to degrade naturally, it causes serious environmental pollution. Therefore, some China has partially restricted the use of plastic packaging. Therefore, the development of food packaging paper has become the consensus of the food and packaging industry. Food packaging paper can be preliminarily divided into the following categories.

1: Fruit preservation paper

Fruit preservative paper in order to maintain the freshness of fruits, Singapore has developed and produced a kind of fresh-keeping packaging paper, which has bacteriostatic and antibacterial agents. The apples stored in this paper will open after half a year, and the fruit will still be full. Another kind of fresh-keeping paper can keep citrus fresh for 3 months and litchi fresh for 30 days.

2: Bean dregs paper

A Japanese Research Institute used soybean dregs as raw materials to make a kind of packaging paper that is soluble in heat, has nutritional value and can be eaten. The packaging paper is suitable for the packaging of fast food noodles and seasonings, and can be eaten together.

3: Paper for converting solar energy into heat energy

The United States has developed a paper that can convert solar energy into heat energy, which can act as a solar collector. When the food is packaged with this thermal insulation paper and placed in the sunshine, the food in the package will be heated. The heat can be dissipated only when the package is opened.

4: Absorbent paper

The big feature of water absorbent paper is its strong water absorption capacity. It can maintain the water absorption of 10 times the self weight of the material, and. There are significant differences in water absorption capacity and water retention between water absorbent paper and non-woven fabric, and water absorbent paper is dominant. This is because the non-woven fabric can only keep water in the pores between the raw material fibers, and the water absorbent paper not only has the above ability, but also its fiber itself can absorb water. After the absorbent paper absorbs water, it becomes soft. Due to the following characteristics, the absorbent paper can be used as a film (piece) for absorbing condensation of ham, sausage, etc., a film (piece) for absorbing dripping of fresh food, and a film for cosmetics and sanitary materials.

5: Carrot wrapping paper

The carrot paper developed in Britain takes carrot as the base material, adds appropriate thickener, plasticizer and water repellent, and uses the natural color of carrot to make a cheap and high-quality edible color vegetable paper. This product can be used as individual (inner) packaging of boxed food or directly used as convenience food. It can not only reduce environmental pollution, but also enhance the beauty of food and increase consumers' interest and appetite. Carrot paper is a kind of edible color paper, which has strong flexibility and water resistance, packaging function and edible function. If the strength and plasticity can be further improved, the surface (texture) can be improved, and products of various shapes (boxes, bowls, etc.) can be made, its use can be further expanded, the environment can be effectively protected, and a way can be provided for the deep processing of vegetables.

6: Acid free waterproof archival paper

The waterproof packaging paper and paperboard (acid free waterproof archival paper) independently developed by Hunan Changde cigarette factory jinfurong (special) Paper Co., Ltd. has successfully filled the gap in China. The company started its project in 1996 and invested 3.15 million yuan to develop waterproof packaging paper. According to relevant introduction, the application scope of waterproof packaging paper and paperboard is very wide.

7: Screen wet paperboard

Libery Paper Co., Ltd., Minnesota, developed m-guard screen wet paperboard, which is similar to corrugated paperboard and common lined paperboard. It can be printed, recycled and pulped. The wet screen performance of the paperboard is visual. This wet screen performance is caused by the internal chemical bonding performance in the paperboard making process. It does not need to be transformed and can save time. The paperboard achieves good moisture shielding performance through its internal absorption.

8: Waterproof dehydrated packaging paper

This kind of packaging paper, called PS, selects the semi permeable membrane that can only penetrate water as the surface material, and the inner side is placed with high osmotic material and polymer water absorbent. The packaging paper will not damage the food tissue, but also inhibit the activity of mold, prevent protein decomposition, reduce microbial reproduction, and maintain the freshness, concentration, flavor composition and toughness of food.

9: Water resistant processing paper

The water-resistant processing paper has good water resistance and air permeability, because the penetration rate is higher than other materials, its surface strength and interlayer strength are high, it is flexible, and it can absorb ammonia, etc. These characteristics are not obtained by additive resins and chemicals, but by the pulp of raw materials. Because MWS has the above characteristics, it can be expected to be used in food packaging materials, dewing and water absorbing films (tablets) and other fields. At present, MWS has been applied to the vacuum packaging of wine tank stained food and compounded with other materials. As the packaging paper of multi moisture semi-finished food, MWS gives full play to its advantages of mildew resistance, water absorption and water resistance. A Japanese food company has also developed an egg white coated packaging paper, which is a packaging paper made by dissolving protein. Protein is used as a coating on paper, and the packaging paper film is made by technology, which can withstand temperature, prevent erosion, facilitate food processing and do not pollute the environment.

10: Heat sealing wrapping paper

Heat sealing packaging paper has the characteristics of heat sealing, ventilation, oil and water resistance.

In order to make the packaging paper have heat sealing property, the surface of the heat sealing resin paper should be coated or bonded with polyethylene to make it have heat sealing property, without secondary processing to obtain ventilation, and its ventilation can be controlled according to user requirements. The food packaged with this breathable wrapping paper can be heated by electronic wave, and there is no steam in the package, so as to keep the food surface fresh. Because it has the following characteristics, heat sealing packaging paper can be expected to be used as the packaging material of frozen food heated by electronic wave. At present, it has been used to package hamburgers.

11: Thermal insulation packaging paper

The function of this paper is to keep the cooked food fragrant, fresh and hot after packaging for people to eat conveniently on different occasions, so as to meet the needs of the fast pace of people's life today. The principle of this thermal insulation paper is that it can convert light energy into heat energy like a solar collector. Usually, people only need to put this special paper where the sun can shine, and the space surrounded by the paper will be continuously supplemented with heat, so as to keep the heat of the food in the paper, so that people can eat fragrant, hot and delicious food.

12: Fruit and vegetable residue paper

Japan's takazaki paper company produces fruit residue paper from apple residue discarded in the food industry. The method is simple. Remove the seeds in the fruit residue, pound it into pulp, and add an appropriate amount of wood fiber. This fruit residue paper is easy to decompose after use, can be burned or composted, and can also be recycled for papermaking, which is not easy to pollute the environment.

13: Anti deterioration paper roll

A Japanese company has launched an antiseptic paper that can be used for food packaging. Its production process is: first immerse the base paper in an ethanol solution containing 20% succinic acid, 33% sodium hyaluronate and 0.07% sorbic acid, and then dry it. The food packed with brine can be stored at 38 ℃ for 3 weeks without deterioration.

14: Plmex food wrapping paper

There is also a kind of plmex food packaging paper in the European and American market. It is pure pulp, does not contain fluorescent agents and chemicals harmful to human body, and has the characteristics of water resistance, oil resistance, viscosity resistance and heat resistance (or high temperature from 200 ℃ to 250 ℃). It is easy to use, easy to clean and hygienic, and meets the food hygiene standards of American PDA and German PGA. The food paper can be recycled after being washed with water and can be reused for 50 times. This kind of food paper can be rolled or pressed into various paper cup shapes. It will not deform and fade whether it is used for steaming, baking and microwave heating.

15: Mould proof paper

A kind of packaging paper produced by a Japanese company can prevent food from mildew and deterioration for a long time without damaging food flavor. The paper is made by fusing the monoglyceride with the compound, taking it as the water solution dissolved in water and ethanol, spraying or wetting on the paper, and then heating and drying. It can be used to package all kinds of food.

16: Paper like roll

A British company has developed a successful paper that can replace foam plastics. There are many small cracks on it, occupying more space. When the paper roll is opened, it will become a three-dimensional honeycomb with an area of 10 times.

It can play the role of buffer liner, and is suitable for filling and maintaining packaged goods. The paper roll is made of fiber and can be recycled and reused; When discarded, it can be biodegradable.

17: Other artificial peel paper

The utility model relates to an artificial peel paper which can be recycled after it is launched in the foreign market. This kind of artificial peel paper is made of materials. It is completed together with the production of food on the automatic line of the factory. It is a tight transparent bag or transparent special-shaped ring. It is tough and elastic, which can prolong the shelf life of food. When eating, just peel off the artificial peel paper.

18: Self adhesive wrapping paper

South Korea has made a kind of self-adhesive packaging paper. The outer layer is kraft paper and the inner layer is foamed material. It has elasticity and good corrosion resistance, and the surface of the packaging can not be worn. Because of its stickiness, rope and tape are not required for packaging. Once the packaging paper is unpacked, it automatically loses its viscosity, so it also has the function of preventing people from being unpacked.

19: Propylene synthetic paper

A kind of synthetic paper was made from propylene in petroleum gas in Japan. This paper is strong, not easy to crack, smooth surface, no wrinkles, not afraid of moisture, and will not change color. This kind of paper is lighter than ordinary paper and is not easy to get dirty. It is used for printing, writing and food packaging.

20: foam paper

PSP company in Germany has developed a new process for foamed paper production, and the packaging material produced by it can replace foam plastics. The foamed paper is made from old book scrap paper and flour. First, the recycled old books are cut into broken pieces, then rolled into fibrous pulp, mixed with flour in a ratio of 2 to 1, and the mixture of paper pulp is injected into the extruder to form cylindrical particles. During extrusion, raw materials are heated by steam to form foamed paper. Using this kind of foamed paper as raw material, different shapes of plastic packaging can be produced according to different needs. Foam paper can be formed at once, without chemical additives, and can be recycled after use.

21: hard light wrapping paper

A Finnish company has successfully developed a kind of hard and light packaging paper. This packaging paper is 10% ~ 20% lighter than ordinary paperboard. In addition to its and survival characteristics, it also has heat resistance and printing ability as pure pulp board. It is suitable for packaging chocolate, ice cream, refrigerated food, various flavor packaging and manufacturing fast food boxes.

22: paper cans

At present, the annual consumption of aluminum cans in China is 6 billion to 7 billion. Raw materials need a lot and are expensive. In addition, due to environmental pollution and other factors, China has approved the construction of a new aluminum cans production line. Whether we can find a new packaging container to replace aluminum cans has become a concern of the industry. The birth of paper cans overcomes the disadvantages of aluminum cans and has broad development prospects. It costs at least 17 million yuan to build an aluminum can production line, while it costs only 2 million yuan to build a paper can production line; The small batch of aluminum cans is 20 million, and the economic batch of paper cans is more than 20000. Paper cans can be used for the packaging of paint, chemical industry, food and other products. They can also be used to produce paper lunch boxes, paper cups, paper barrels and other products. It is estimated that the annual demand for cans in China will gradually reach 15 billion, and its characteristics will inject new vitality into China's packaging industry.
